TUTU AYDINOÄžLU

Vice President

Tutu Aydınoğlu, who began her piano studies at the age of 6, works as an educator and pianist at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. Known as the "pianist of premieres," Aydınoğlu conducted the Turkish premiere of Respighi's "Concerto in Mixolidic Mode" and has made it her mission to breathe new life into forgotten works of Turkish composers.

The projects “Ottoman Traces in Western Music” and “One Nation, Two States,” for which she served as artistic director, attracted great interest, and she performed as a soloist with the Cemal ReÅŸit Rey Symphony Orchestra. Ekrem Zeki Ün's reinterpretation of Piano Concerto No. 1, 50 years later, is one of AydınoÄŸlu's most notable performances.

Aydınoğlu, who has given world premieres of works such as the "Independence" Trio and the "Water Ode" Oratorio by Azerbaijani composer Pike Axundova, promotes Turkish and Azerbaijani music on the international stage. Maintaining an active career with solo recitals, festivals, and masterclasses both domestically and internationally, the pianist continues to support young generations through both her performance and teaching.

With the “Heritage Ensemble”, which she founded in 2023, she performed as conductor and soloist in CPE Bach's Concerto, and organized an international tour with her ensemble as part of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
